Mereen-Johnson's 424-DDC/SR2+ Gang Straight Line Multiple Rip Saw-  This machine is a two arbor dip chain gang rip saw; first arbor trim/hogs board to optimum width, second arbor with full gang sleeve, heavy duty upper pressure head assembly, extended overbeam on left hand side of machine for first arbor saw blade change; each arbor with powered vertical adjust, infeed and outfeed anti-kickback assemblies.  Pendant type master control console with a computer interface keyboard for programming "Select-A-Rip" movable saws on infeed arbor.

"AOK" Scanning System- The AOK Inspection System  uses color video, X-ray, and laser profiling to provide the required level of information about board defects. Both sides of each strip are scanned by high speed color line scan cameras.  This provides high quality images of the surfaces of the board.  The strip is then scanned by a high speed X-ray system which provides an image representing the density variations in the board.  Both sides of the strip are also scanned by high speed laser profilers.  This provides images representing the contour of the surfaces for the board.  The five images collected by the scanners are evaluated by a personal computer to locate, identify, and characterize the defects in the board.  This generates a defect map of the strip.  Based on grade definitions entered by the user, a grade map is then created. Depending on the application, the strip is then optimized to produce the parts required by the cutting bill by either the AOK scanning system of the optimizing chop saw computer.  Optimization may be based on either yield or value.  The results of the optimization are used by the saw to cut the parts required.  The AOK multitechnology scanning system performs the highest quality of inspections available, reliably and consistently, shift after shift.  Installation of this system will result in higher quality wood parts, lower labor costs, and higher lumber yields.

800B Automatic Defect Cut- off Saw- The best built saw, from the CAD/CNC based engineering to the finest components available.  Ultimizers saws offer more hold downs, more horsepower, larger drive shaft diameters, heavier overall construction and the most reliable hardware, software and electrical components available.  Ultimizer's saw is the most durable optimizing cut-off saw in the industry. These saws come supplied with easy to use board controls and processor, four grade optimizing with five different modes of optimization, 23 HP supplying digital AC servo, and a three point grip system and hold-downs that give unsurpassed lumber control and accuracy.
